Donations to the Foundation allow us to continually advance technology and equipment at Upland Hills Health. UV-C Disinfection Systems are proven to reduce surface viruses and bacteria that are responsible for Healthcare Associated Infections, including C.diff, MRSA, influenza and seasonal coronaviruses. Though Upland Hills Health has an extremely low rate of Healthcare Associated Infections, we feel it is important for us to do everything in our control to provide the safest environment possible for patients and staff.
The UV-C system we plan to purchase – which is a product of a Waukesha-based company – will be used in conjunction with our already stringent cleaning protocols. This technology won’t replace traditional cleaning, but will enhance it.
You can see it in action below.
Upland Hills Health consistently works to stay ahead of the changing healthcare landscape and our community’s need for services. Looking to the future, we are being called to offer:
Better Technology
Rapid advancement of technology is changing the way healthcare is provided. New equipment requires larger space to deliver care in our operating rooms.
Convenient, accessible space
Our aging population needs us to deliver care in the most convenient and accessible way possible. It must become easier for patients and visitors to find their way through our hospital.
Healthcare that exceeds expectations
The landscape of healthcare in our area has changed with new healthcare facilities and expanded services nearby. If we are to remain a vital part of our community and continue offering services close to home, we must remain competitive.
Larger space in areas that matter most
Families are getting more involved and playing an important supportive role in healthcare. This positive trend demands larger patient rooms, birthing suites and waiting areas.
Enhanced Technology
UV-C Disinfection System
UV-C Disinfection Systems are proven to reduce surface viruses and bacteria that are responsible for HAIs, including C.diff, MRSA, influenza and seasonal coronaviruses.
Help us create a safer environment that allows patients and staff to feel confident and protected during this pandemic and beyond by supporting the purchase of a UV-C Disinfection System at Upland Hills Health.
