Volunteen Program

Volunteen 550W

The Volunteen program was created in 2018 and began as a partnership with Dodgeville High School. Teens are helping in roles in the following departments this summer: Greeter; Heart, Lung, and Sleep; Community Relations/Marketing; Wellness Center; Emergency Department; Med/Surg; Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Our summer goal for Volunteens is to complete 36+ hours with the opportunity to continue volunteering during the school year as student time permits. Hours are determined based on each volunteer position requirements and are very flexible to meet your needs and the needs of the department.

Volunteen Program Goals:

  • Offer students opportunities to acquire new skills and knowledge, develop new interests, and experience satisfaction in building relationships and helping others.

  • Partner with area high schools to develop relationships that benefit students, schools, and Upland Hills Health patients and staff

  • To provide an avenue for students to begin career exploration and build their personal resumes
