Drury and Faull Receive Healthcare Scholarship

Two local high school graduates recently received $500 scholarships from Upland Hills Health to pursue a career in healthcare.

Highland Community High School graduate, Madalyn Drury, daughter of Brent and Jeanne Drury, plans to pursue a nursing degree at Western Technical College in LaCrosse, WI. Mineral Point High School graduate Madisen Faull, daughter of Kim White-Faull, will be attending UW-Madison. She is interested in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

The Upland Hills Health Board of Trustees established this scholarship program to help area high school seniors meet their goal to become health care providers, and to provide support for health care education at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College.

Applicants were restricted to seniors enrolled in a high school within the Upland Hills Health service area which includes: Dodgeville, Mineral Point, Highland, Iowa Grant, Barneveld, River Valley, Pecatonica and Mount Horeb.
