Hartline Receives Rural Champion Award
Dr. Rachel Hartline, family medicine physician at Upland Hills Health Family Medicine Clinics is the first doctor to receive the Rural Champion Award.
“This was our first time awarding this honor to a physician who goes above and beyond in both rural practice and promoting rural medicine,” explained Lori Rodefeld, Director of Rural GME Development and Support from Wisconsin Collaborative for Rural Graduate Medical Education (WCRGME).
“A rural champion demonstrates unwavering commitment to rural medicine training and practice in Wisconsin, and is dedicated to educating others about the importance of growing rural medicine in our communities. We chose Dr. Hartline for her work with medical students, residents, the Rural Health Equity Track (RHET) at UW School of Medicine and Public Health, and for being a role model to future rural physicians.”
