Child Car Seat Check Event Set in Dodgeville
The good news is a properly installed and fitted car seat can save your child’s life in an accident. The bad news is that there is a 6 in 10 chance that the car seat is installed incorrectly, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Iowa County families are encouraged to bring their child, car seat and the owner’s manuals for the seat and your vehicle to the Car Seat Check-Up Event on June 22 from 10 AM – 12 PM. The event will be held at Hidden Valley Church at 605 Bennett Road, Dodgeville. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will check the seat to ensure it fits the child and is properly installed in the vehicle.
