First Baby of 2018 Arrives at Upland Hills Health

The first baby of 2018 was born at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville just three days into the New Year. A baby girl, Leny Joyce Papin, was born to Kimberly Splinter and Jeremy Papin of Platteville, WI. Baby Leny arrived on January 3rd just before 3:30 in the afternoon, weighing 8 lb. and 8 oz.

Leny will join two siblings, a sister Tatum and a brother, Dezmen Papin. Her maternal grandparents are Kathy Splinter of Platteville, WI and Tim Splinter of Platteville, WI. Her paternal grandparents are Cindy and Bob Renne of Dubuque, IA.

Dr. Maria Sandgren, OB/GYN had the pleasure of bringing the first baby of 2018 into the world, and Family Medicine physician, Dr. Joseph Berg performed her first health check at Upland Hills Health.

A generous community welcomes the 2018 New Year baby and her family with a gift of newborn supplies and gift certificates.
