Lisa Schnedler Receives Department of Defense Patriot Award

Upland Hills Health President and CEO Lisa Schnedler was honored recently for contributing to national security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force.

David Melby, a volunteer with the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), presented her with the Patriot Award. Lieutenant Commander Charles Pearce, MD, nominated Schnedler for her support of his service in the Navy Reserve.

“Dr. Pearce and others would not be able to serve our nation in the uniformed services without the support of their employers,” according to Melby.
