The UHH STOP THE BLEED Team will be on Channel 57 the week of March 19

Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and a call to action. In response, the Upland Hills Health Emergency Department has launched an effort to train as many people as possible in our community in the coming year.

No matter how rapid the arrival of professional emergency responders, bystanders will always be first on the scene. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.

A FREE Training will be held at 10 am and 1 pm, Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville. It is FREE but space is limited so sign up is requested. Sign up by calling 608.930.7112. Leave a message with your name, your phone number and the number of people you plan to bring to the 1:00 p.m. session.  NOTE: the 10 am session is full.

The team presented Stop the Bleed training to Justin Riley, host of the Wisconsin Doctors show on Channel 57.

The show aired in March and will always be available on Youtube.
