Troop 7218 Thanks UHH Employees with Sweet Treats

Girls Scouts Troops are known for doing great things in their communities to help others. Upland Hills Health was recently on the receiving end of this generosity when the Girl Scouts from Dodgeville Troop 7218 donated more than 200 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to UHH employees.Girl Scout Troop pictured with Upland Hills Health nurses and donated cookies

Lisa Schnedler, President and CEO at UHH, says thoughtful gifts like these are appreciated by staff. “The kindness displayed by these girls warmed the hearts of all of the staff members. Their generosity brought many smiles to and expressions of gratitude from our team as the boxes of cookies were delivered to staff throughout the campus. A very big ‘thank you’ to Troop 7218!” comments Schnedler.

Dodgeville Troop 7218 has been busy this year, selling more than 7,800 boxes to support their Troop. The funds raised through these sales will allow the troop to participate in activities that promote teamwork, planning, and a positive outlook.

Julia Oellerich, Foundation Director at UHH, appreciates the character-building lessons the Girl Scouts program is teaching the girls. “I was so impressed with the generosity of these young girls. Through their activities with the Girl Scouts they are learning the importance of giving back to their community and their kindness and thoughtfulness is important and meaningful to others,” Oellerich said. “We are grateful to Troop 7218 for their delicious donation.”
