Upland Hills Health Welcomes New Physician, Dr. Timothy Raichle, OB/GYN

Dr. Timothy Raichle, OB/GYN has joined the Women’s Health team at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville and will begin welcoming patients May 24.

With the addition of Dr. Raichle, Upland Hills Health (UHH) has three OB/GYNs on its team of women’s health providers, each with an extraordinary level of skill and experience. Dr. Raichle joins OB/GYN, Dr. Barbara Hostetler who has practiced at UHH since 2008 and Dr. Maria Sandgren, OB/GYN who joined the group in 2015.

Dr. Raichle (pronounced Rā-kl) earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. He completed is residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison, WI. There, he was recognized for his teaching abilities and served as the Chief Resident of the OB/GYN program during his senior year of training. Dr. Raichle also holds a graduate degree in Biology and undergraduate degree in Psychology. He is licensed in Medicine & Surgery by the State of Wisconsin, an American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology Fellow. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a current member of the Wisconsin Medical Society.

Starting out in Appleton, WI, Dr. Raichle launched his practice at Affinity Medical Group. During his four years in the Fox River Valley he was honored as the Fox Cities Health Center Volunteer of the Year. He returned to the Madison area and for the past seven years has practiced at Melius, Schurr & Cardwell, LLP, (currently Physicians for Women, LLP), a single-specialty OB/GYN clinic in Fitchburg, WI.

Raichle said he enjoys taking the time to get to know patients and their families and stated, “Whether we like it or not, the experience of the patient is changing rapidly and at risk of becoming more depersonalized. It is my goal to make sure that the relationship and trust between a patient and their doctor is not degraded by these changes. I believe that the Providers at Upland Hills Health share these values and we are a perfect match.” He added, “I am excited about the opportunity to practice at Upland Hills Health with two of my mentors, Dr. Hostetler and Dr. Sandgren.”

Dr. Raichle will see patients primarily at the Upland Hills Health OB/GYN Clinic (608.930.7115) in Dodgeville and also at the UHH Clinic in Mount Horeb.
