UHH Welcomes New Board Member
Christopher Kinonen, MD, MBA has joined the Upland Hills Health Hospital and Clinics Board of Directors. Dr. Kinonen is currently the Medical Director for the Upland Hills Health hospital laboratory and is a staff pathologist with and President of Associated Pathologists, SC, in Madison.
“Our Board members are a valued resource because of the personal expertise they bring, but just as important is the community perspective and personal passion that they share to improve the health of people living in Iowa County,” according to President & CEO Lisa Schnedler. “We are privileged to have Dr. Kinonen joining our Board as an advocate for delivering the top quality, patient-first care we strive for at Upland Hills Health Hospital and Clinics.”
A graduate of the University of Chicago with a master’s degree in business administration, he received his Doctorate of Medicine from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
Dr. Kinonen currently serves on the Wisconsin Medical Society COVID Task Force and is a member of their Council on Legislation.
