Upland Hills Health achieves highest recognition level for breast health services

Upland Hills Health is thrilled to announce it has achieved the highest level of recognition by one of the country’s top breast health programs.

UHH has received the new designation of Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence with the National Consortium of Breast Centers, Inc. The achievement recognizes the hospital has reached a level of national excellence in its continued commitment to providing quality breast care to southwest Wisconsin.

Upland Hills Health is part of an elite group of centers that has achieved this certification status. Hospitals must perform above the 25th percentile on 90 percent of its measurements in order to qualify as a Center of Excellence, as outlined by the NCBC. The NCBC names less than 40 centers across the country that have reached this distinction, including UHH.

Upland Hills Health offers a full spectrum of breast care, including 3D mammograms, less invasive breast biopsy techniques, surgical options and follow-up care. Additionally, general surgeon and surgical oncologist Dr. Jared Linebarger is one of a small number of fellowship-trained breast surgeons in Wisconsin – meaning he has undergone advanced training to perform a number of breast and lymph node procedures.
