Upland Hills Health Will Open New Therapy Center Near Existing Clinic

Upland Hills Health Hospital and Clinics (UHH) announced that it has purchased the former Barleyvine restaurant building and is relocating its therapy services from its current location in the Mount Horeb Clinic at 1809 Springdale Street to the new building at 1883 Springdale Street.

UHH physical, occupational and speech therapy services have continued to grow since Upland Hills Health opened the Mount Horeb clinic in 2015. The new location will mean more space and better accessibility to therapy services and it also has room to add a therapy pool in the future. Upland Hills Health Clinic in Mineral Point offers aquatic therapy, which provides a place for people to rehabilitate safely following an injury or surgery.

“The new building is perfectly located between our existing clinic, which we are currently expanding and remodeling, and the property that we purchased for future growth in Mount Horeb,” said UHH President and CEO Lisa Schnedler. “It aligns with our mission to make high quality health care easy to access and close to home.”

Schnedler said plans are in place to open an Urgent Care in Mount Horeb within the existing clinic building. The new clinic and therapy space are expected to open in 2024.
